About Me

I am a single guy that loves to cook and bake. I fell in love with cooking when I was cooking for my spouse who was diabetic. Over the 14 yrs we were together we lived a lifetime and then some. Due to such diet restrictions, it was often hard to find useable recipes. Eventually the last three users my late spouse was doing dialysis here at home. I was blessed with the privelage to care and love such a wonderful person.

In 2009, I buried my spouse, 2 sisters and my best friend all with 5 months of each other. I am still struggling with the pain and loss.  As the days turned into months I slowly started to live again. 

I started cooking again from recipes on the website. This allowed me to forget the pain for a moment and laugh and be happy.  I  have never been one that cn cook in small amounts. We never had children as my spouse was a elementary school teach before becoming diabled.  I started interacting with the world once more as I gave the extra food I made to neighbors and senior citizens center.

I had always planned on going to culinary school but financially I was not able to do so. Perhaps someday down the road.
