This is a great recipe but you need to cut the wine way down to 1 cup. Too much acid flavor even when you cook it down if you use 3 cups. Otherwise it is perfect."

I got lemon meringue soup. I followed the recipe to the T. Good tasting soup, but soup nonetheless, not pie filling. The lemon juice and zest should be added in with the water at the beginning and cooked along with the sugar mixture, and not added in at the end IMHO.
