These cookies are flat-out delicious. I made them for Christmas Eve, cut them into gingerbread men and wrote each person's name on them, slipped them into plastic bags and used them as place cards. Very good. I didn't have a whole tenderloin but it was good for 2 thick filet mignon. I just adjusted the portions down to be commensurate with the beef. Excellent flavor and I'll use it on other steaks / roasts too."

This is a definite winner and relatively easy considering the number of people served and the sauce just needs a last minute puree. I like the work being more "front loaded" when I'm entertaining.
