This is Ree Drummond's version of a classic and much-loved cake. Unfortunately I think it is the most sweet and greasy version out there. I think plenty of people will still love it but it is just too much sugar and butter and not enough chocolate for me."

These are far too sweet, I'm afraid. They are more like some kind of fudge, which I think is due to the inclusion of the sweetened condensed milk which is super-sweet. I guess they are a good treat to make for children rather than a dark and intense chocolate truffle which is what I like."

Delicious! My husband was skeptical but loved it too. The serving numbers are off - I cooked 4 eggs which served two for a light dinner. I kept all other quantities the same and it was plenty. I just think if you are serving this as even a light meal it should be two eggs per serving."
