I grew up with an Italian mother, but never heard of this recipe until I saw it mentioned on a rerun of Everybody Loves Raymond. I had to try it. I was not disappointed. I wanted a lot of sauce to dip the foccacia, so like the previous reviewer, I used a 28 oz can of crushed tomatoes. I substituted beef stock for water and added some basil. N"
