Reviewed Roasted Asparagus with Lemon Vinaigrette

Dec 26, 2013 on FoodNetwork.com

This recipe is pretty sour! I think it is best suited for someone who doesn't like the taste of asparagus. The directions for roasting are good, though.

It was too sweet somehow and flavor was lacking.....Too bad because I love Giada's recipes. I'll be looking for another one!""

Very good flavor! Next time I think I will marinate for 30-45 minutes. Because I don't like the calories from the oil and I scraped all the sauce off. Works just fine on the stovetop pan-fried. ""

Fantastic!!! Really phenomenal recipe! Used Vahlrona chocolate and organic juicy strawberries. Skipped the white chocolate. Microwaved choc at 50% power for 1 minute then 1 minute. INCREDIBLE! Best ever chocolate-covered strawberries I've ever had, and I have them every chance I get!!!""

Reviewed Lemon Rosemary Marinated Grilled Halibut

Feb 13, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Phenomenal recipe! This coming from someone who cooks fish every night! Very subtle, but flavorful! I love preparation that does not smother the fish, but enhances it. My most favorite halibut recipe, and now I will be making halibut very very often!! p.s.: Made on stovetop and it was great!""

This is good, not fantastic.....I didn't love the combo of the pineapple and carrot......made it taste very fruity sweet in a one dimensional way....there are better recipes out there where you can make your own substitutions for WW flour and apple sauce and it will come out better......""

Reviewed Real Meatballs and Spaghetti

Amazing!! Best pasta dish I've ever made! I didn't have seasoned bread crumbs, so used all regular white bread crumb. I cut way down on the oil since I'm a healthy cook. I used San Marzano tomatoes and whole wheat spaghetti. Absolutely fantastic! My husband is a picky pasta eater, and he loved it, and was super impressed! Next time the onl...

Reviewed Blueberry-Raspberry Muffins with Streusel Topping

Jan 29, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Phenomenal!!! Even my healthy version and without making the frosting: substituted 1/2 AP flour for 1/2 Whole Wheat Flour. Substituted 4 tbsp apple sauce + 4 tbsp veggie oil for 1 stick of butter. Everything else I would keep the same. The raspberries make these muffins pop, so next time I would add more. ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL. MY FAVORITE...

Perfect way to cook a filet! Just outstanding! I messed up the sauce, so can't review that. ""

Reviewed Guiltless Oven-Fried Chicken Fingers

Jan 26, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Pretty good. Not like fabulous! Kind of soggy, so turned on the broiler. I don't think they're necessarily guiltless! I mean, they are better than deep-fried ones, but they are still a little greasy for my taste with all that mayo......""

Fabulous!! Even without the frosting, and in a healthier rendition: replace 1/2 of flour with whole wheat flour, replace 1/2 of oil with apple sauce. Wonderful flavor and consistency!!!""
