Reviewed pear-celery lemonade

4 days ago on FoodNetwork.com

Clever combination...I know how good the sodium in celery is for my body but I really don't like drinking celery...I only used two stalks of celery and two lemons. I also juiced the lemon in a citrus juicer and then added it to the celery and pears that I juiced in my juicer. Very healthy!

Reviewed smothered pork chops

It's a keeper! I used pork steaks and they were huge and weren' t done after the initial 3 mins each side. I should've cut them in pieces after frying and then simmered. I used homemade yogurt in place of the buttermilk, and this was a wonderful meal. I rarely buy pork chops cause they turn out dry, but not these.

The cake was moist but the molasses was overpowering. I didn't have any crystallized ginger so will try that next time thinking it might offset the molasses somehow. The cake was easy enough and the texture is awesome. I will try a diff brand of molasses next time too.

Wonderful...creamy, delicious and fast. I used my immersion blender and it makes it so creamy. Also I made a batch with the vinegar and then a batch with all lemon juice...and I think I prefer it with lemon juice. Yum.....Ina is my favorite chef of all time..."

Wonderful! I didn't have evaporated milk so used 1/2 cup cream plus a cup milk instead. Then added in the can of sweetened condensed milk and left out the other cup of milk. Cooked for 10 mins and it was creamy and delicious. I also added 1/2 tsp of cinnamon when I added in the milks. Best rice pudding I"ve ever made."

I used this as a pudding and substituted date paste for the sugar and increased the lemon juice. Was wonderful for a low glycemic dessert with the benefit of the nutrition of the avocado! I had tried raw avocado puddings before but didn't care for them..but this was just sweet enough to be a treat."

I used quick cooking oats and I used raw coconut oil. I used only one cup of nuts and replaced the other cup of nuts with 1/2 cup whole buckwheat. I halved the recipe cause I didn't need 24 rolls. The dough didn't seem to rise as well as it should've and the rolls did not look like hers, which are nice and fluffy inside. Mine were a bit on the dense side. I looked at a couple other recipes and they are left to rise a second time but this recipe doesn't say to do that, so not sure if it's...
