The recipe turned out perfect! I only subbed the amaretto with 1/2 tsp of almond extract and then added 2 TBSP of fresh orange juice so the liquid amounts were the same and it was so delicious. I didn't have to add cooking time either, it took exactly 50 minutes. ""

This was really delicious and a great presentation with the bread bowl...it really makes a hoagie sandwich into something a lot more special by doing it this way. Plus, it's great for guests who don't want a big sandwich, you can just scoop out what you want and spread it on the sliced hoagie rolls for mini-bites. My guests loved it!
