I love to watch Ree's show, but, I have to say my family was not happy with this dish. I didn't find it overly sweet as some reviewers did, but, it just seemed like it was missing something. It was spicy which we liked, but, seemed to be a one note dish and didn't have a great flavor profile.

Absolutely fantastic! The cake was so moist and the buttermilk glaze took this cake over the top. I had to cook mine a little longer, so, just keep your eye on it so it doesn't burn. If it is getting too brown just tent a piece of foil over it while it finishes cooking. My entire family loved it!
