i have the same complaints as the others regarding rise. bought a brand new pack dry active yeast. rolls tasted pretty good but they were rather hard on the outside before even browning, so I took them out of the oven before they browned/turned to rocks. I had almost no rise during both processes. again, they were pretty good, but not at all soft "
