Reviewed Baked Alaska

Feb 26, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This recipe was so easy to do and tasted so amazing. I always thought Baked Alaska took hours and experience to make. Not so with this recipe. And, my kids were so impressed. ""

Reviewed Buffalo Chicken Salad

Sep 8, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Excellent! I loved the homemade blue cheese dressing. Easy to make and reminded me of the buffalo chicken salad I order at one of the restaurants we frequent at a price of $16 for lunch. Would definitely do again.""

Reviewed Easy Sticky Buns

Aug 6, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Excellent and easy to do. I was able to get my 14 and 8 year old girls involved in helping out. Perhaps we didn't have the right pizza dough because our rolls ended up being more filling than dough. I might use two pizza doughs or a different brand next time. Certainly a do again. ""

Reviewed Cold Peanut Soba Noodles With Chicken

Jul 20, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Excellent and perfect for a summer day when you don't want something too hot because temperatures are in the upper 90s. Easy to prepare and it's nice to make something with an Asian influence instead of typical hamburgers and fries. I added a little wasabi to spice it up a bit but other than that I will be doing this recipe again."

Reviewed Low-Cal Fettuccine Alfredo

Jun 14, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Easy, quick recipe and very creamy. It did not taste low cal or low fat. I used Garden Delights fettuccine to add 4 grams of fiber and one serving of vegetables per serving. It made the recipe even healthier and didn't take away from taste. "

Reviewed Grilled Cheese With Bacon and Thousand Island Dressing

Excellent. Very easy to do and a nice twist on chicken pot pie. "

Reviewed Gorgonzola Polenta

Apr 4, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Very tasty and easy to do. I was surprised that the gorgonzola added a nice flavor to the corn grits. Usually I add other cheeses that are not as pungent as gorgonzola but creamier to my polenta but the amount of gorgonzola used is just the right measure. Will do again since it was also quick to make. "

Reviewed Bacon-Apple-Jalapeno Pop 'Ems

Mar 2, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

These were so tasty and original. Nice balance between the light heat of the jalapeno and smooth taste of the cream cheese mixture. The apple adds a little tart while the onion adds a bit of spice. An original appetizer to serve to guests who will keep guessing the ingredients. "

Reviewed Spiked Apple Cider Cocktails

Nov 22, 2010 in Food Network Community Toolbox on Food Network

I loved it but I thought it tasted better hot. I marinade the apples in the punch for awhile then heated over the stove and ladled into people's cups. Not only is it a great hot drink for a cold winter night but when you heat it, the house smells festive.
