This is all about the ingredients. You must use high quality bacon or it it will ruin the results. I made it with Oscar's bacon, parm reg, and Cabot cheeses and it was excellent. The Munster made the cheese sauce creamy and I used a sharp cheddar. Also, I baked it as a casserole with thick beefsteak tomato slices on top. I doubled the crumb topping...

Perfect summer slaw. Sweet, spicy and delicious. I used red onion and Arrowhead cabbage and that makes it. (soak the red onion in water for a few while you're chopping everything else, all the flavor and none of the sharpness)"
