My first like for my 3rd try on an Alton recipe.(And I really like Alton I give it a 5! Very tasty with healthy ingredients(ok, a diet of bacon fat isn't the healthiest. But the dressing really took the strong taste of spinach away. It's great to have another choice besides a red leaf salad or the work of a chopped salad""

Uh OH, this is the second recipe I've tried of Alton's, and I'd say one more strike and he's out! I'm very surprised cause I see his vast knowledge on his show, and I would expect his food to taste delicious! But after his spaghetti sauce, and this, I probably won't try him first.

I thought they were bland, and so was the gravy....

It was good! I like my toast a little softer, so I toasted it less. I just used the ranch dressing I had instead of buttermilk. This made it a little tangy, so next time I'd use the buttermilk. I also made closed faced sandwiches, put sauce on both pieces, and used wheat bread. Hope the people I made it for like it.""

The dressing was awesome! and I didn't even have Thai basil! The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star, was because it needs lots more add-ons, like cucumbers and pepperocinis! Whatever' s your favorite for pasta salad!
