OMG was this fabulous tasting. I used half Fig & Orange Balsamic Vinegar and half other good vinegar because it's all I had and the flavor of the sauce was excellent. Not vinegar at all. Follow the recipe, it's pretty simple if you do all the chopping first. I served it with smashed yukon gold potatoes but Anne used potato pancakes. The onions"

This is without a doubt the best grits recipe ever. I call them dinner grits because they are so rich and decadent. I substituted crawfish (shelled) for the shrimp and hot Italian sausage because no andoullie was available. It was DELICIOUS. Also, because I only had 5 minut white grits I used 4 cups of milk and cream instead of the 6 cups calle"
