Replied to Perfect Burger Recipe : Bobby Flay : Food Network

Pretzel buns would be great with yummy burgers, too.

A wonderful, light, fresh and quick dinner. (But TWO tsp salt??? I didn't use any, especially because I grated already-salty parmesan over the top.) I served garlic bread and a simple salad with this, and I once made the pasta with fresh spinach and some diced left-over turkey bacon. Endless possibilities! And so yummy.

Sometimes, advertising covers up some of the recipe. Happened to me, too, and at first it blocked the cheese and pickles. Just move the screen up and down.

If it hadn't been for way too much salt, this would be the best chicken salad EVER. Why do all the chefs use so much salt??? Even McDonald's has finally gotten the message that too much salt is unhealthy. Aren't they aware that salt can cause high blood pressure -- even in kids -- which is one of the reasons for such an increase in kidney probl"

Reviewed Grilled Cheese with Spinach and Pancetta

Why in the world do these cooks add SALT to everything - especially stuff for kids? Cheese already has so much salt. I am glad, tho, to see the unsalted butter. Also glad there's spinach in there. We used low sodium, low fat turkey bacon cooked crisp (didn't use much; still adds flavor -- or just eliminate)) and it was good. And why no whole "

Probably shouldn't rate this as I didn't make the quesadilla exactly like the recipe. Seemed like too much goin' on - I eliminated artichoke hearts, broccoli, carrots and blk olives (don't like them), then did the rest per instructions. Very good! The potatoes and corn added a nice touch. "

So easy and lots of flavor. Sorry, didn't use the crab, but otherwise, followed the recipe exactly. Used the spaghetti as a side to chicken breasts marinated in Paul Newman's Italian Dressing. Mmmmmmm! Did I mention easy?! "

Reviewed Chicken and Grilled Pineapple Wedges with Green Peppercorn Sauce and Mushrooms

Jul 17, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This entire recipe seemed a little odd, but since I think chicken and pineapple are good together, I decided to mix this up a bit and try it. Instead of putting the fajita spice on the pineapple, I used it as a rub on the chicken (and added a pinch of crushed red pepper for a little heat). Then I grilled the chicken and pineapple as stated. The"

Reviewed Bacon Wrapped Asparagus Bundles

May 17, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

My husband is on a very low sodium diet (kidney failure), so we only use bacon for something special -- and then it's low-sodium, low fat turkey bacon (not like real bacon, but not bad). I, too, pre-cooked the bacon a bit, and used the oven instead of the grill. Definitely a good side dish; this time I served it with a swiss cheese (only moderat"

Don't care for tortilla chips used this way, so instead added cooked macaroni. Otherwise, followed the recipe exactly. Mmmmm. Cowboy chicken macaroni and cheese! ""
