My Activity

Reviewed Gwen's Fried Chicken with Milk Gravy

"This is the exact same recipe my mother [would now have been 96 but she passed away in 2007] used. She got it from her mother. The white gravy recipe is an exact match to a very old version of Better Homes & Gardens cookbook - 1930's edition. Needless to say, I will always maintain this is a classic! The same chicken procedure [without the gravy] "

Reviewed Adobo-Rubbed Chicken

"To NYorican, the adobo mixture is made from the first six ingredients and then pureed in the blender. Lots of spice and the texture is great."

Reviewed Cajun Rice With Sausage

"I don't understand the boring label.

I used Benton's bacon and andouille sausage. It had plenty of kick. Oh yes, don't forget the Tabasco, but that would go without saying for any Cajun dish, right?"

About Me

I cook for relaxation and because food tastes are very important to me. Wine is simply another food that is a part of the overall meal and needs to be selected as a component part, just like any other dish.
