I made this to serve on Christmas eve and it was wonderful and delicious!! I did make a few changes and additions. I used clams instead of mussels and added octopus and some lobster. I would not add lobster again - it was lost in the mixture. I am not sure i would add the lemoncello again or the tomatos because i am not sure what it added to the mix....

Excellent summer desert. Very light and refreshing. I also used the 1 cup of sugar as suggested and it turned out perfectly. The only other change I will make is to do an 8" round since my meringue spread when baking so it was not as high as I would have liked. This recipe is definitely a keeper and I will make it again.

i made this recipe with Lamb - used a dry red wine instead of the marsala and added extra veggies. It was DELICIOUS. My mother in law who is Italian thought this was excellent and asked me to make again. She now likes it better than a leg of lamb roast!!""
