Reviewed udon noodles with miso poached tilapia

A very simple and easy recipe. I made a few adjustments to it just for my personal taste, by adding some baby Bok Choy. I also added a tablespoon of both Old Bay, and Garlic, because it seemed a bit weak on seasoning. Second time around flavor was great because everything had a while to meld.

I have heard s much about this recipe that I wanted to try it. The only difference in my version was that instead of using pieces of a cut up chicken, I started with just breasts. Great recipe. The only I will change is to cut the pepper back to one teaspoon like the other spices, and try to find a possible season that would mimic the taste of the bacon. Perhaps it was just me, but the flavor of the bacon wasn't as pronounced as I had hoped. Other than that, this is a very easy, tasty recipe.

Simple and easy. Very tasty, but prep time was a bit more than expected. My on deviation was to use zucchini instead of eggplant, and I added a pinch of red pepper flakes for just a bit of extra heat.

This is a great recipe. I admit though after tasting it when I stuck directly to the recipe, I thought is was a bit weak in flavor. As such, I made some changes. my changes included tripling the base spice amounts. I also added some chopped fresh garlic, seafood stock, and some white wine.
