About Me
My grandchildren are my passion. I am dedicated to helping them learn to appreciate healthy fruits and vegetables as well as traditional comfort foods. I especially enjoy making soups from scratch.
Favorite Foods
Potato soup, broccoli cheese soup, chicken barley soup, shrimp or crab soup all top my favorites list.I adore creamy desserts such as tiramisu, Boston cream cake, eclairs, or black forest cake though diabetes has curtailed how often I make them now.
German food became a favorite after I lived in Wurzburg for 3 years. Das Waldcafe in Newport News VA is my favorite German restaurant outside Germany.
