Reviewed beef with broccoli

Jul 21, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

This is by far the best beef with broccoli that I have ever had. I think it's even better than what you get in restaurants. I followed the recipe exactly, used the same amount of low sodium soy sauce as stated and it was not too salty at all. Definitely a keeper and I will making it often!!

Jan 26, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

Love this gravy and it is super
easy to make. I used regular breakfast sausage and the full amount of milk that it called for. Next time I will decrease the pepper by a smidge but will not rate this less than five stars because it was yummy. I didn't make Ree's pepper and sage biscuits as she did in this episode, instead I made her other...

Reviewed beef stew with root vegetables

Jan 23, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

I made Ree's beef stew recipe that is in her Food from my Frontier cookbook. The only thing different in recipe is it called for potatoes instead of the parsnips and turnips. Everything else was the same and it was absolutely delicious! I did not make the grits because we are not grit fans but I did make her buttered rosemary rolls to go along...

Reviewed Crispy Chicken Strips

Dec 10, 2013 on FoodNetwork.com

These chicken strips are the BEST!!! Although I did not have chicken tenders on hand, I had boneless skinless chicken breasts so I just cut them down to size since I had everything else hand. Reviewed Gwen's Old-Fashioned Potato-Beef Casserole

Dec 3, 2013 on FoodNetwork.com

This recipe was not too bad. I did doctor it up a bit after reading some of the reviews about it being bland. As soon as I watched her make this recipe I wondered why there was no roasted garlic or garlic sauted with the onions and hamburger. I left the skins on the red potatoes (big plus with us) and did add some roasted garlic and a couple diced...

Reviewed Pasta with Pancetta and Leeks

Dec 3, 2013 on FoodNetwork.com

This pasta dish is delicious!!! I've been wanting to make it for quite some time but my husband prefers pasta with tomato based sauces. He would try it however but not care for it again. But the pancetta browning in the cast iron skillet may change his mind. He is out of town for the week so I decided this was the perfect time to try it. I had...

I have been making my homemade fries like this for years. Actually started doing them this way when I saw Guy make them. I also do not have a gas stove so I use my electric deep fryer. It w"
