"After reading this recipe I have a question for the cook. What do you do with the shitake mushrooms?! One strains the liquid out and adds it to the sauce but the recipe never actually says what to do with the mushrooms?! An error on the part of the writer or the cook? If I were a beginning cook I would be throughly confused. "
I'm a lazy sort of person and honest about myself mostly. I love to garden and love to share info and plants with anyone who will do so. I am a reader and one of my favorite things to do in the spring is to curl up in the swing with a light blanket over me and a good book. I collect recipes and make Hubby nuts by always trying new foods. I like dinners that are easy to cook but taste like I spent hours cooking. I am slightly handicapped so Hubby has to help in the garden which he does willingly (most of the time). I have two grown children,both of whom thinks Mom has Peter Pan Syndrome and doesn't want to grow up. I love animals but my favorites are cats.I birdwatch but am not great at identifying them. I am stubborn, like to win arguments(I am most of the time right but will admit when wrong), like to meet new people and love history. I would spend most of it on traveling if I won the lottery but I never buy a ticket because I am unlucky. I never win!
It would be easier to list what I don't like but the foods that I love are: Chocolate! Milan cookies. cheeseburgers and french fries. German food. Pizzas.
