Reviewed Beer Battered Tilapia with Red Chile Mandarin Orange Sauce

"At first glance, I was a little concerned about the oranges called for by the recipe, but they work, they add a little bit of sweet to the spicy sauce. It evens it out. This would also be a good sauce on chicken. The sauce makes the dish as Tilapa tastes like nothing. I really liked the beer batter, but I cannot see how baking the fish or poaching the fish would drastically alter this dish, as the fish is bland and the sauce does all the work as to taste. I plan to try this simple sauce again on other items, it was a surprize hit. Serve the sauce on the side to keep the fish crispy."
