My Activity

Reviewed Oven Fried Chicken

"Very tasty and so easy. I used Italian bread crumbs in place of the bagel/melba toast chips. Worked great. I also used some boneless, skinless breasts I had in the freezer. I cut the breasts into quarters. Yummy! Will most likey make this again and again!""

Reviewed Three-Cheese Macaroni

"My daughter had a few friends over to spend the night (ages 8-10) and I made this, along with oven "fried" chicken and a green salad. The girls LOVED this recipe and none of them knew it had cauliflower in it until after they ate it and I told them. Two of the girls asked me if they could take a copy of the recipe home to their moms! Thanks for""

Reviewed Baked Farfalle With Escarole and Zucchini

"I made this dish last night, however, I had to substitute some ingredients since my grocery store was out of all that I needed to create this dish exactly. It still worked out pretty well. Instead of making the sauce from scrath, I used a large (45oz.) jar of store brand sauce. I added fresh basil and parsley to the sauce, though not nearly the amount that is directed in the recipe. I also had to use yellow squash instead of zucchini and baby spinach instead of escarole. Everything else was the same. My family raved about this dish! It was wonderful, flavorful, looked complicated, but was pretty easy. We will most certainly be having this one again!"

Reviewed Tilapia Milanese

"Very tasty and super easy! Loved the breading on the fish. It kept the meat nice and juicy. I'm thinking about using this same recipe but instead of tilapia, use pork or chicken pounded thin. This recipe has earned a placed in my recipe box for sure!"

Reviewed Oak Town Garlic Vinegar Chicken

"For the most part, I thought it was OK. Nothing too impressive about it. I agree that it had way too much vinegar flavor for my taste. If I make it again, I'll cut it back to 1/4 cup instead of 1/2 cup. I also had to add more salt to the dish to add flavor. Not too happy about how much salt I had to add. Could have been because I used a domestic beer (MGD - it was all I had in the house) instead of one that might have had fuller flavor. I might play around with this recipe a bit to see if I can't make it fit better with my family's tastes.

Reviewed Marmalade Meat Balls

"Made this recipe for dinner tonight. I served it over white rice. It was so tasty. Very easy to put together and nothing else to do but let it simmer away in the crock pot. I will be making this one again and again!

Reviewed Bacon and Tomato Pasta

"It's almost like BLT's with pasta. My 9-yr. old daughter, who is a huge picky eater, LOVED - LOVED - LOVED this recipe. She ate a great big plate of it and wanted more! The recipe was easy enough, a lot of chopping, but I was smart and bought the red onions already diced from the grocery store. Next time I want to use a tastier tomato than just Romas. Maybe some heirlooms or like another user said, grape or cherry tomatoes. I will absolutely make this again and can't wait to share it with friends and family!
