Reviewed Onion Parmesan Roasted Red Potatoes

Sep 11, 2014 in on Food.com

Great base recipe but this is what I did to put my own twist on it. 8 russet potatoes, 1/3 c. parm cheese, onion soup mix (own recipe), 1-2 tb Worcestershire sauce, ½ c. olive oil, and half an onion. Cut my potatoes into wedges and diced onion and added to 13x9 dish. In a small bowl I added olive oil, soup mix, parm cheese, and Worceste...

That wont do anything. You can just leave it out. No big. Flavor will be off just a bit but not badly.

If they didn't come out sweet then you did something incorrect. Did you use 2 cups of sugar? Sometimes when making stuff we can get easily distracted and confused and miss something. I have. If they were flat then not enough flour was used or were placed too far apart. Did you use butter or margarine? That makes a difference too. I baked as...

It calls for 1/2 tsp salt. You have to rely on the recipe itself. They cut out parts of videos sometimes. Yes, add salt unless you use salted butter. :)

I believe sanding sugar is extra fine sugar. I used powdered. I baked them in a 13x9 glass dish like bars. They were like brownies. Best recipe for brownies in my opinion. :) I'll keep looking for a better cookie recipe though.

I think something was off maybe the age of your ingredients or the weather outside. Sometimes that plays a part when following a recipe. I actually made these like cookie bars in a 13x9 glass dish and they were the best brownies. Yep...not cookie like more like brownies. :) I think the ingredients aren't correct. Too much butter which made them...

I was looking for a chocolate cookie. These were excellent tasting but they came out like brownies. I also dont know whats so top secret about them? I made these like a cookie bar just cooked longer about 30 min. Great flavor and I agree a bit on the greasy side. I think the butter was too much. 2 sticks would have been sufficient. Maybe less...

Reviewed Carrots & Potatoes Roasted w/ Onion and Garlic

I used my largest Correll baking dish with a lid for this recipe and didn';t use aluminum foil. This is what I did. I didn?t have much in the house end of the week you know. So, basically I had potatoes and onion. Found this recipe and thought I could work with it. I didn?t have carrots so those were omitted. So, instead of only 4 potat...

This is an easy recipe. I did a couple things different though. I honestly didn';t think chicken would be very good in this recipe. Could be a me thing. Anyways, I used a pound of lean hamburger, cooked and drained and added my salt and pepper into that so it was evenly distributed. I do agree "flavor" wise that this was a bit bland for me. ...

My husband and I loved this recipe! This is my first time attempting guacamole. I didn't make a mess surprisingly. I did do all the prep work first to make it easier. We like spice but not a whole lot. So, to be safe I omitted the jalapeno and only used half of cilantro and cayenne pepper. I did however, add more cayenne after an hour and a...

This was sooo good. After reading reviews I did change some things. I put 1 tablespoon of chili powder, 1 tablespoon of minced garlic, 1 tsp of salt and pepper. Left out the oregano because that doesn't even sound right for ham and beans. I also used a ham bone left over from Christmas dinner I kept frozen til now. Still had plenty of meat on...

I found this recipe because I forgot to pick up a mix at the store. Boy am I glad I forgot it! So easy and very good! I will say that kids might not like the heat so you can scale back on the cayenne and red pepper flakes if you want. I like heat so I left it alone. I added 4 cans of kidney beans, 1 can of diced tomatoes, an onion, and a pou...

I honestly didn't notice I needed a whole pound of cheese. I only got 1 container which is half so I made half. I don't drink rum so I bought rum extract and replaced it with that.
