It was delicious. I used a store bought rotisserie chicken. I didn't have any Creole seasoning so I used Old Bay as suggested by other reviewers. I also added poultry seasoning and celery seed. It was a lot of work but it was worth it. I highly suggest that you make the sauce first and let the flavors meld. I didn't think much of the sauce initially...

Paula, I am mad at you! this cake is soooo good and sooooo easy. I have never made a cake that tastes this good. It is so moist and light. I baked it this morning. Ummm, well I love sweet potatoes in any form or fashion, so I was excited to try this recipe. I followed the recipe exactly and I was disappointed at the results. The fritter was crisp and golden on the outside and a creamy mess on the inside.Oops I did add a little cinnamon and nutmeg but that would not have affected the consistency. It tasted good...
