Reviewed Chocolate Chip and Mascarpone Cupcakes

Dec 29, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

These are the best chocolate cupcakes I have ever tasted! They taste wonderful right out of the oven, or cooled and frosted. Followed the recipe exactly, and I thought they were going to turn out like brownies because the batter was so dense, but they are very fluffy"

It was pretty good, a little too lemony for me. Next time I will decrease the lemon, or maybe not saute the lemon slices, so that the bitterness is cut back."

Extremely easy to make, I added 1tbsp. of sugar to the mix, and I left out the lemon zest. Best shortcake I have ever had!"

This was delicious!! I made it exactly as the recipe states, but next time I think I will cut back on the salt. I was surprised that it reheated in the oven easily, and it was not dry, it was just like it was fresh. YUM!"

Reviewed Lobster Rolls

I didn't care for it at all, but I am giving it 3 stars because my husband said it was good, but not great. All I tasted was mayo and lemon, so I couldn't finish mine. I wish I had just eaten the lobster with a little butter. I didn't make my own mayo, I used Hellman's.... maybe that was the problem?"

May 2, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Extremely easy! I made this with what I had in my kitchen, so I didn't have thyme, and I only had a 1.65lbs. roast. I cut down the ingredients, and only cooked in the oven for 30min, came out great! Perfect temp inside."

Reviewed Crunch Top Apple Pie

Feb 14, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This was an awesome combination of a lattice and a streusel topping. I used 8 oz of cinnamon applesauce (it was all I had) instead of 16oz of regular, added a little more apple, cut the lemon juice in half, and doubled the topping, using 1 tbs. of sugar, and 1 tbs brown sugar. Yum!""

Delicious, even my 7 year old loved it. I only had chicken stock (instead of wine) and fire roasted canned tomatoes, and it was wonderful""

Reviewed The Best Chocolate Chip Cookie Ever

Dec 24, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I only had self rising flour and salted butter, so I omitted the salt and baking powder (of course), and I reduce the flour by 1/4 cup. Still the best cookies ever! crisp edges and chewy middle... YUM!""
