Reviewed Bacon-Herb Wrapped Pork Tenderloin with Lemon Glazed Sweet Potatoes

Jun 17, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

We loved this recipe; easy to make and very tasty. BUT, I followed directions that said to roast at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. I did so BUT, when cutting into the tenderloins after the suggested time, I found that they were not fully cooked; too rare. My oven is reliable so I wonder why mine weren't done. I put them back in for 10 minutes m"

Another excellent recipe from Giada. I followed her recipe as given but used one half Italian bread crumbs and one half Panko crumbs; gave them a very crispy coating. I also made the risotto the day before and I think that made it easier to make the next day. Too, I made the balls in the morning, coated each and set each one on a cookie cooli...

Another wonderful Rachael recipe, and I have made tons of her recipes and can say this was great! I halved it because there are only two of us now but no problem. I used the remaining crushed tomatoes in a pasta sauce later that week. Too, I used baby portobellas and they were fine. I happened to have frozen lobster left over from New Year's ...

Reviewed Gina's Orzo Salad

Sep 2, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This was an excellent salad and one that I'll make often as we eat lots of salads. There are only two of us so, I used one cup of orzo and that was plenty. Too, as one other reviewer suggested, use more mustard, I used two teaspoons, and also added chunks of canned artichokes :(7oz) size, drained and one lemon seemed to be ok but, I think I did...

I made the given recipe last night but cut the recipe in half as there were only two of us; had about 1.1/2 lbs. or more of the sausages, mixed of course. The end result was terrific!! Loved the blend of the wine and balsamic vinegar and the syrupy sauce it made. Yes, next time I will double the sauce part as there wasn't enough for us and, I "

Reviewed Seared Scallops with Bacon, Tarragon and Lemon

My husband and I truly enjoyed this recipe. I included eight large shrimp along with the scallops and the result was great. I cut the recipe in half but did fry two pieces of Nueske bacon, a Wauwatosa,Wi. favorite and that added additional flavor. This is such an easy meal to prepare, somewhat economical, and yet cheaper than eating it at a local...
