I love Giada and so tried this recipe for a friend and I, I didn't think it was all that good...I'm a texture person and this seemed gritty to me since the almonds don't grind down all the way to a smooth sauce...I will try it again and see if I can get it smooth, maybe that'll help?
Thanks Giada!
PS. She recently did a banana...

for all the people who tried this recipe!....on the show (watching it now) Tyler doesn't put oil in recipe...but it is on the recipe...so omit it. even in the directions it doesn't mention adding it with the wet ingredients.
Food Network needs to change it!!!!"

I don't know why people try and make something that they don't follow the directions then give it a bad review...this recipe is a good one. Anytime you make a cake it may have leftover batter but if you know anything about baking at all you wouldn't fill the pan to the top.

Thanks Claire for reminding me how easy these are. I first heard about this recipe from a friend that had a child that was allergic to wheat and gluten. I love the crunchy texture to these cookies!
Can't fail with this recipe!
I'm going to try cashew butter instead of peanut butter and I'll let you know how they turn out"

Good rub for any cut of pork! I added the zest of a lemon to the rub and it gave it more flavor as well as balance.
One of my favorite rubs is fresh rosemary, lemon zest, sage and a little salt on pork, YUMMY!"
