Delicious! I add extra chocolate chips and nuts but instead of putting them in the batter I scoop the cookies out and press the extra goodies into the tops and sides of the cookies. They look like they came from the bakery!

This is an excellent chocolate cake. It was a very easy recipe and baked perfectly. I frosted it with coconut pecan frosting (Martha Stewart's recipe) on top of both layers.
