Reviewed Maple-Fig Ice Cream

"This ice cream is amazing! A little bit sweet but still very delicious. I even got my 5 year old daughter and husband - who both dislike figs - to eat this ice cream! very easy to make, but make sure you read the instructions of the ice cream maker first as mine needed 24 hours to chill in the freezer, which delayed the ice cream making.

Reviewed Baked French Toast Casserole with Maple Syrup

"I made this for a brunch for my daughter's first birthday and I still get requests to make it again (3 years later). I think it is a great recipe, but as everyone says the liquid is TOO MUCH! To work around that I just use a denser bread that will absorb all that excess liquid. I have also done it where I layer the bread in two layers and that also works. The taste is all the matters in the end and this tastes GREAT! I am making it again this weekend for our preschool's Valentine's Day bake sale.

Reviewed 1770 House Meatloaf

"I think this recipe is fantastic. I gave the recipe a 4 star rating because it released a lot of grease (which I discarded), but if you substitute the pork or beef with turkey that will not be an issue. Ina certainly has some misses but this was one was a definite hit. I used all the ingredients she listed except the panko bread crumbs which I simply did not have on hand. Instead I had a day old roll of bread which made 1 cup of crumbs and substituted the rest with store bought bread crumbs. I will use this recipe again.
