"Followed the instructions exactly for the duck - agree with everyone who said it was VERY salty. I used kosher salt and it penetrated everywhere. Skin was good, but not great on crispiness. I LOVE Alton, but this recipe didn't make the cut without modification."
Reviewed Cipollini Onion and Fennel Pot Roast
"Very good recipe. Simple to make with some complex flavors. Used a cabernet versus the sherry, but otherwise followed completely. The sauce makes an excellent sauce for egg noodles if you want a starch to go with it. "
