Reviewed Braised Country-Style Ribs with White Beans and Fresh Herbs

Feb 2, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I've cooked this dish at least a half-dozen times and every time, without exception, at least one person asks for the recipe. Great comfort food. Great dinner party food. Also freezes well (if you're lucky enough to have leftovers) -- I usually double the recipe for that very reason.

I've made this several times and am headed to the store to get what I need to make it today. This pie is fabulous. And it looks like it could be difficult to make (and I'm tempted to let them believe it!). :) Thanks, Giada!""

WOW! Substituted cannellini beans -- like the larger size. And served it over brown rice (SO much more flavor than boring white rice). This recipe is fabulous! Way to go Sir Emeril. :)""

Reviewed Asian Chicken Noodle Soup

Nov 19, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This recipe is really good. I added lemon grass, mushrooms and carrots. Used dark soy. Served it with whole grain flat pasta. These couple of additions transformed it from soup to a hearty entree! It was fabulous.""

This dish is fabulous. Go all the way and get all the ingredients (e.g., the black rice vinegar is very different from the regular clear stuff you buy at the grocery store). This is too good not to share -- fix it for a dinner party -- everyone will be duly impressed! ""

This recipe is da bomb. The freshest/prettiest mushrooms available were shitakes so I substituted. The arugula is a genius addition! Love, love, love everything about this recipe.

Reviewed Grilled Lamb Chops with Tapenade Butter

Sep 11, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I have cooked lamb many times, many different ways. This recipe is FABULOUS! The tapenade butter is to die for. If you don't want leftover butter, you can easily cut the ingredients in half. But I've frozen my leftovers for future use. It would be great on any meat. Way to go Mr. Flay! :)""

Reviewed Blackberry Jalapeno Glazed Pork Tenderloin

Jun 28, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This recipe is fabulous. I doubled the garlic & jalapeno (and I highly recommend you do the same) -- because the blackberry preserves are so sweet. I seared the tenderloins on the stove and then threw them in the oven. Put the glaze on them the last 10-15 minutes of cooking. OMG! A really easy recipe but looks (and tastes) truly gourmet. Just"
