Reviewed Tony's Chocolate Pecan Pie

"Pretty "eh" for a Neely's recipe. We've made many pecan pies over the years; this was really basic & kinda boring. It came out ok party because I knew to toast the pecans first -- that wasn't stated in the recipe. The chocolate/bourbon blend was kinda different.""

Reviewed Chocolate Bread Pudding

"Excellent. Skipped cinnamon; used dark cocoa + extra Tbsp, and vanilla bean (1 good-sized pod) instead of extract. Richest bread pudding I've ever had. Not a big fan -- find b.p. too mooshy, like geriatric hospital food -- but this pops. Used Italian Shepherd's bread. Rustic, herbal, or sourdough would ruin it. W/ soft bread, 15 min soak is fine. "
