Reviewed Spiced Beef Brisket with Smokey BBQ Sauce (Texas

Jun 3, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

OK.....just saw this show.....and have not attempted this version of brisket....looks good. Just a note to Giada however she makes a cardinal error when slicing the brisket...she forgets to slice it AGAINST the grain of the entire slab of brisket. This is the only way to assure tender brisket. ......otherwise it will be tough and s"

Way TOO MUCH Chinese 5 spice....Was that a typo regarding the quantity?....Never again....Look for ANY other recipe for Chinese ribs other than this this is a real loser and waste of time and money on good ribs."

This recipe is mediocre at best. I will go back to my own recipe for cold sesame noodles next time. should never put oil into a pot of boiling water prior to cooking any pasta. This is a cardinal rule, especially in Italian kitchens. Oil in the water clings to the pasta...thus preventing any sauce from adhering to it. I am surprised In"

Reviewed Marinated Seared Tuna

This is the best recipe for tuna and Anne is great. However the only thing I added were light brown and black sesame seeds.....just remove the tuna from the marinade and roll in the sesame seeds before cooking as directed. This was a great recipe as all of Anne's recipes are....she is one of the best, and on the money chefs on the FoodNetwork. The only thing I added to the tuna were a combination of light brown and black sesame seeds.....after you take the tuna out of the marinade just roll the pieces of tuna to coat, then cook as directed. I always do this with tu...

Too much time in hot water. I'll go back to my original method: Place eggs in cold water and under low-medium heat for 8 minutes, take out and place in bowl in sink and let cold water run over them constantly as you well. Ina is usually OK, but then again you DO NOT put oil in water before boiling pasta!! This does nothing to keep pa"

Reviewed Baked Clams Oreganata

Mar 14, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

Great idea regarding opening of the clams.....the only thing I would say is that if you are indeed using fresh oregano, which is always quite strong I would cut down on Anne's suggested 3tbs, way too much and overpowering....maybe it's a typo and should read 3 tsp?? Regardless, watch the to your taste."
