Reviewed Mini Open Faced Steak Sandwiches on Garlic Bread with Aged Provolone and Parsley Oil

Jul 19, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

These sandwiches were so good!! The smell of the garlic butter when it hit the grill was unbelievable and the parsley oil added a freshness that was superb. I added a bit of crushed red pepper and a squeeze of lemon juice just to add a little pizzazz. These were awesome!"

Jul 19, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

Super Delicious! I agree with another review that no flavor was lost and we loved it! the only thing I may change next time is the amount of lime juice. The dressing ended up a little tart but it was still good! I added hard boiled eggs and it was a great salad!"

I'm really not sure what happened. Unfortunately this chicken had almost zero flavor which I could not believe since I love, love, love A-1 and worcestershire sauce. Normally I read the reviews first for a few tips from other cooks but I didn't this time and I really wish I had. The reviewer who posted all the extra seasonings seems to know whats "

I couldn't believe how much flavor these held since there was no marinating or anything and they were soo good! made the chicken from this episo"

It was super delicious. The skin came out crispy and amazing. Served it with her potatoes from this episode which were also really really good. A little bit of Sweet Baby Rays and my husband said this was a definite keeper! The only thing was it took a little bit longer than what she said I'm not sure if it was maybe because my chicken was bigger "

I only give this recipe a 4 because as far as fried chicken goes it's very good but it's not earth shattering. The crispiness was right on and it has a good flavor. To the person who rated this one star because it wasn't cooking correctly....that's what we like to call Operator Error. I'm not sure what you did wrong but this chicken came out perfe"

We REALLY like these! I did not think it was too time consuming because once you get it all in the pot you can really just let it go and forget about it. It does make of filling. Since it's only the two of us, next time I'm going to cut the recipe down. We loved it. I've never had a bad recipe from Anne!!"

I wasn't crazy about the chicken rub. It was just ok. The cumin seemed to overpower everything else. The coleslaw was excellent though. I'm going to keep this recipe just for the coleslaw. The onions were good but I already knew I loved grilled onions and I used my own homemade bbq sauce so it made them extra good and it was a good idea to put bbq...

Apr 11, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

I really liked it but I took into account what other reviewers had to say about there not being a lot of flavor. I added ground beef and I used more onion than what it called for. I left out the rosemary and went with a more traditional pasta fagioli and added oregano instead. I also added a lot more veggies like carrots and celery and a can of plain...

I wasn't that big of a fan. The skin wasn't crispy and nether was the bacon. I like my roasted chicken crispy and it was just kind of soggy. "

Loved it. Like someone else said it combined pizza and pasta my two favorite things. The only thing was I didn't use ricotta cheese because I already know I don't like it and I did add a can of plain tomato sauce to the sauce recipe because I like my pasta saucy. I had to cut the recipe way way down to make it for my husband and I but we both LOVED...

Reviewed Get Yo' Man Chicken

Oct 20, 2010 in Food Network Community Toolbox on Food Network

so so so good! we all wanted to drink the sauce with a straw. definitely serve the chicken over the rice and spoon lots and lots of sauce over it. Amazing! i didn't have any rosemary so i used oregano instead which goes super well with thyme, salt, pepper, and parsley. If i weren't already married this definitely would have landed me a man!!
