I hate it when people leave reviews for recipes when they have changed many of the ingredients. However, since food network doesn't give me a way to make personal notes on the recipe, you'll get to read about what we did.

We couldn't find dried porcinis, so we just made this with a mix of fresh shiitakes, creminis and a few oysters....

Reviewed Pasta Dough for Ravioli

This was our first attempt at homemade pasta. I thought it turned out well, but was a little heavy and maybe a little dry. Of course, this could just be our own fault for not knowing much about pasta making. We doubled the recipe because we weren't sure it would make enough dough for 5 people. We had tons! One recipe would've been plenty.

We made this recipe with the sour cream we had on hand, which was reduced fat. We found the dressing to be very buttermilk-y. While we thought it was good, we wondered if using full fat sour cream might give it a better mix of flavor.

I have to admit, we used the Light Mayo and Neufchatel that we already had on hand, but we didn't think the recipe was too great. It sort of came out tasting like mayo + artichokes.
