Reviewed Hummingbird Cake

"Thought this was a really yummy concoction. Frosting was the best part, but if you look at the ingredients, it is obvious that it is going to taste and feel like almost a sweet bread, so I expected that, and was pleased with the flavor and texture. I used fresh pineapple, and I agree that it is important to try to use it. Would make it again as it is a relatively light but still quite enjoyable dessert.

Reviewed Chicken Stew with Biscuits

"It was so tasty and buttery. A real treat! I didn't have the bone-in breasts but the boneless skinless worked well, just made more of a protective cover for them in the oven so they didn't dry out. The Biscuits were especially tasty- loved their flaky yet still slightly chewy on the bottom where they rested on the casserole. Certainly not on the super-healthy side, but oh so worth the butter! I did omit the wee onions too as I didn't have any and 2 cups seemed sufficient for onion flavor.
