Reviewed Meat Loaf

Dec 3, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Another great Ina recipe. Perfectly flavored and moist meatloaf. Sometimes I add a grated up carrot or two so my kids get some veggies. I found sometimes I need more bread crumbs to get the correct consistency. I cook at 400 degrees because I like the outside browned. "

I really liked this recipe for thanksgiving. Easy and convenient because the potatoes can be baked the day before and then reheated with the syrup the next day. The syrup was runny even after boiling for a long time. Next time I'll use 1 less cup of water. "

Good recipe--can't taste the beans--I used prepared dry beans but I think it would be great with canned also. I added nuts--I think that helped the brownies not seem so cake-like. I cut these into serving size pieces and froze them in sandwich bags--I just had one that I made a couple months ago and it tasted just like when made fresh."

I make this all the time and it is delish! The only thing I will say is pour the liquid on the potatoes and coat the potatoes entirely--use your hands. Then still using your hands, arrange the potatoes in the baking dish, then pour the remainder of liquid into the baking dish. I think this is a better method to make sure the potatoes are not st"

Easy "as pie" with a "unique" taste. The pie has the consistency of pumpkin pie and it definitely takes on the lemon flavor. I can't help but think that something other than the lemon extract would be more suited for the squash. I think I will try the pie again with a different flavoring--maybe vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice or som"
