Reviewed cranberry meringue pie

I made this pie and it is absolutely fantastic! The only reason I gave it four stars (and not five) is because it needs more gelatin than what the recipe calls for....
I used Graham cackers for the crust because that is what I had at home - but the crust works really well with the cranberry filling, and the meringue mildens the intensity...

I loved this recipe (and yes, I am actually one of those that made it). I left out the liquid smoke because I did not have it, but other than that made the recipe exactly as written. The beer and peanut butter give it a really hearty, earthy flavor.

The directions for these cookies are spot on and they result in impressive looking cookies. I also rolled out some of the gingerbread dough (to 1/8 inch), then cut out shapes with cookie cutters. After transferring those cookies onto a parchment lined cookie sheet, I used a smaller cookie cutter to create a cut out....."

These are really good; they have a subtle bacon flavor. I think the next time I make them I will cut the butter in half since they are a tad on the greasy side....

I love, love, love this recipe....I don't like boxed stuffing mix and make my own (stale bread, cut in cubes and dried in the oven). This will become a staple at my holiday dinners from now on !!
