Reviewed vindaloo for chicken or lamb

Great flavor! I added chicken stock because I purchased chicken thighs and not a whole chicken. I reduced the sauce a bit (I added TOO much stock). I loved the slight spiciness of it.

Nice, easy recipe. Has a great flavor. I subbed veggie stock for chicken and left out the bacon to make it a vegetarian dish. I'm sure the bacon would have made it even better!

The recipe (with the modifications from everyone's review) was good. It wasn't anything outstanding. After I tested it (I added cream cheese to it to make it a little smoother), I decided to add a bulb of roasted garlic. I used the juice and rind of 2 lemons - and that was plenty.

Very good! I did it 'California style' and topped it with some avocado, tomato, kale, and added some shredded Montery Jack cheese.

I followed the 300* for 25 min - turned out great. Topped with Trader Joe's Everything Seasoning and it was way better than anything I've bought in a store.

This was my first quinoa recipe. I made veggie stock and used that to cook the quinoa and the lentils. Followed the recipe and it is very good. The dressing is very tasty too. I will make again."

Really easy to make, great flavor. Loved the bit of 'salad' with the carrots, celery and tomatoes. I could have just eaten THAT alone. Thanks Jeff, for another great way to enjoy my man, 'Frank's' in a meal."

Excellent recipe - so simple too. Didn't use grains of paradise either... and I added garlic when I was cooking up the onions. I put have the soup in the blender, the rest I left in tact. Great soup, served with beer bread."

The meat didn't have a lot of flavor oddly enough. I marinated it in Mojo first and then followed the recipe. I did make the pickles, and they were perfect with the sandwich. I didn't care for them alone, but my family loved them. The combination of everything as a sandwich, however, was fantastic. Oh, I didn't make the sauce, I just used may"

This was a fantastic sauce. I doubled the recipe and threw some anchovies in when I was cooking up the onions & garlic. I let it cook for 3 hours, and then added Anne Burrell's Excellent Meatballs to the sauce. It was soooo good. I tested it so much along the way with some nice buttered bread, that I was full when it was time to serve it. ""

The sauce... is amazing. Simple ingredients, and a great 'Sunday' sauce since it takes 3-4 hours. Tasting along the way is a joy. San Marzano's are pricey, but worth it. I have used regular whole tomatoes, and it's wonderful, but the San Marzano's add a nice sweetness and less acidic flavor. The meatballs are excellent, and try the homemade pasta...

This was very good. I used skirt steak, and marinated it for only 50 minutes. I would definitely use low sodium soy sauce for the 'salsa', I used regular and it was way too salty (that's all I had in the house). The Bibb lettuce was a nice change, though my family chose to use a corn tortilla and put the lettuce over it. Another winner from M...
