My Activity

Reviewed Curried Potato Fritters

"Super easy (careful peeling the hot potatoes, that's all), super tasty and super quick. I added a few extra pinches of garam masala and it was a big hit! Definitely could cut down on the salt.

Reviewed Pork-and-Pumpkin Chili

"The plus sides: really different flavors for a chili, hearty and warming. It was a big hit with the BF as we could both work on different steps at the same time.

Downsides: I found it watery and almost too spicy to eat at normal speed (from a girl who loves spice!)

Poblanos are impossible to find here in Ireland so I was forced to sub a red bell pepper and used 3 chipotles. Also I used chicken thighs because I don't eat pork. I'll make it again, but with 1 cup of water and half the chili powder.

Reviewed Pumpkin Waffles With Trail-Mix Topping

"Gorgeous waffles and a really cool topping. The batter freezes great, too. We made a double batch and had waffles for two weeks! It's like eating fluffy pumpkin pie for breakfast. Perfect with whipped cream and maple syrup.
