By far the best Coq au Vin I have ever made. I tried other recipes, but this one is the very best.
I admit it is a little work, but well worth the effort. A great do ahead dinner for those special guests you want to impress.

This a great soup. I used frozen cooked lobster claw meat from Costco. Delicious! I froze some of the leftovers and it reheats wonderfully.

My only complaint about this recipe is that I think the potatoes are overkill with the rice. Also, some of the ingredient specifications are not clear. What size can of broth? It says to add garlic twice, but how much each time? And I guess the hot sauce is to taste. The oxtails were quite tender and very tasty. The potatoes took longer than the...
