Replied to Deconstructed Cannoli Chips and Dip Recipe : Jeff Mauro : Food Network

Jul 16, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

Thank you so much for posting your review. I am about to make this dip and was wondering about the whipped cream myself, especially since Jeff has the exact same recipe under the name "QuickNoli Dip" but it does not use the whipped cream! Thank you again, you just saved my dip!

Reviewed un-fried chicken

Jul 14, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

My family told me to "throw out" my traditional fried chicken recipe and use this one from now on! This was so good and so easy. The only change I made was to add corn meal, a little corn starch and garlic powder to the panko. I only had the plain, original Panko so that's what I used and it turned out great! Served it with the Garlic Mashed Cauliflower...

Reviewed quick and easy roasted red pepper pasta

Jul 13, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

I'm not quite sure why some reviewers said this was bland, we loved it! Roasted red peppers do not have a "bold, in your face" flavor and Ree did state in the recipe to "taste and adjust the seasoning". I did however use some of the other reviewers suggestions and doubled the sauce. I also doubled the garlic and added a hint of red pepper flakes...

Just made this recipe last night for dinner - it was excellent! I go to my favorite Mexican restaurant at least once every two weeks to get their Diablo Shrimp and now I can make it at home! I did have to make just a couple of adjustments though because Sunny made this as an appetizer and I was making it for a dinner. I followed her directions only...

Replied to chicken piccata with buttery lemon noodles

This is exactly what I have been doing - it's just a shame we have to take these extra steps - can't they just put it back to the way it was!

Replied to thai beef with peppers

Mar 18, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

I know exactly what you're saying. Now when I print it's 2 sheets instead of one because of all the "explanations". I now have to copy the recipe and paste it in Word and print it from there - really guys come on, put the "print recipe" back the way it was

Mar 9, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

I just finished making this stew for dinner and my family loved it. Of course just like with any recipe you need to tweek it to your own liking. I browned the meat in my dutch oven in a bit of EVOO with salt, pepper, grill seasoning and garlic salt. I didn't have any beer so I deglazed with cream sherry. Added the veggies, meat and beef broth...

I'm calling this my "refrigerator chicken" - thank you so much GZ, you truly inspired me with this dish. I had all the ingredients but never thought to put them together in such a way. I had to use a few "dried" herbs instead of fresh but it turned out fantastic! Unfortunately there wasn't any leftovers for lunch the next day - this one is going...

Completely DISAGREE with you - I love Jeff and this is one of the very best shows on Food Network. It's the hosts and their unique personalities that make this show so wonderful! Keep up the excellent work guys and I actually came to the site to get GZ's recipe for this chicken - I'm making it tomorrow - it looked fantastic and I can't wait to make...

Replied to Blueberry Sauce Recipe : Ina Garten : Food Network

Mar 2, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

This recipe says to add 1 cup of water but in the video Ina used 1/3 cup of water. I just made this sauce to put on the lemon cake and I only used the 1/3 cup of water and it turned out great, reduced nicely in about 15 minutes. Hope this helps

Not only is my whole family eating Brussels Sprouts now but I've given this recipe to 3 other people. This dish is great on it's own but you can add any of your favorites to make it even better. I always toss a little bacon, brown sugar and a few red pepper flakes in and my family and friends LOVE it. My 9 year old granddaughter and her friends...

Just made this recipe last night and my family loved it. I was concerned that the hot sauce might be a little too spicy for my 8 yr old granddaughter but I followed the recipe to the letter and she LOVED it! This recipe is now in my rotation and I will use it again and again. I didn't mix the house seasoning in a jar (probably won't use it that"

This recipe is a keeper! The chops are so tender and the sauce is delicious. I read the reviews first before trying it and did make a couple of changes. I used Dijon mustard because that's what I had on hand and also added a shot of Worcestershire sauce and a sprinkling of brown sugar to the sauce along with sliced mushrooms. I also thickened th...

Yummy, Yummy, Yummy! The mushroom sauce alone is delicious. I made this meal last night and was a little short on time so I used prepackaged meatballs and used beef broth instead of the chicken stock, other than that I followed the rest of the recipe to a T and my family loved it! That sauce really makes the dish - try it, this is a recipe for a...

We have "Taco Tuesdays" at our house and ALWAYS have leftovers. When I saw Paula make this dish and then read the reviews I knew this would be a great way to use my Taco Tuesday leftovers. I too omitted the mushroom soup and used diced tomatoes with chilies, the pie pan idea was perfect, I used a deep dish pan. I also used the enchilada sauce i...

I made this for dinner and apparently I should have made more, gone in a flash! We are not a big fan of arugula so I served it with a side of risotto. This breading is so yummy I decided to try it on Tilapia - OMG - even my 7 year old granddaughter loved it - she ate 2 (big) pieces! The orange zest really makes it come alive, you really have to ...
