Reviewed herb-roasted turkey breast

16 hours ago on FoodNetwork.com

Tried this recipe out earlier in the week with a bone in turkey breast that was wet brined using Alton Brown's brine recipe and the tast was fabulous! Easy to find ingredients and the breast actually had both juiciness and flavor. I will use this one again!

An easy to follow recipe for sure! I have a batch in the oven right now. I also added maybe another 1/4 cup of flour to get the dough to "come together" a bit easier, but other than that I wouldn't change a thing...Another superb recipe that is a keeper!

Reviewed Slow Cooker Macaroni and Cheese

Aug 20, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This is a terrific, easy "go to" comfort food recipe that doesn't have you slaving over the stove and then baking! Like others, I did find it to be a tad on the greasy side, but that is what southern food is about and in moderation, who cares! It is mac and cheese after all! I have made this several times, both with cooking the macaroni just un"

Reviewed Green Beans with New Potatoes

Fabulous, fresh and tasty! Fresh is the way to go! Forget about canned green beans which taste like metal and have the texture of baby food! This required a little effort, but produced big results. A crowd pleaser for sure. I will be putting this in rotation for sure and maybe donating all of my "canned" green beans to a local homeless shelte"

This recipe, is easy, classic, wholesome, comforting and full of flavor. It is also quickly adaptable to suit your tastes and that alone is terrific. I let simmer at least an hour and a half before adding pasta of choice. This is such a winner! No wonder it is Bobby's favorite. It is a favorite here, as well, time and time again without fail"

Reviewed Smoked Paprika Chicken Thighs with Potato and Onion

Jan 17, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This is a solid recipe that drips with flavor and is simple to prepare, yet the flavors are fantastic together! I would not change anything, except adding minced garlic to the olive paste, but that is only to suite my love of garlic. One of the best chicken dishes ever. Pure Comfort!"

Reviewed Green Beans Slow-Cooked with Bacon and Onions

Aug 2, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This is THE traditional southern way to prepare green beans. I have been spoiled by my parent's garden for years, but as they age, I needed to find for myself how to prepare that same beloved taste that most of you know! This was it! I used water, and much less than it called for in order to prevent over cooking and "wet beans," however this is"

Recipe, followed for most part with few exceptions and is marinating away in refridgerator. I'm both excited and apprehensive about trying saurbraten, but it's worth a shot! Sounds amazingly wonderful and a terrific fall treat. Only gave a "good"rating because I'm waiting for final result, plus recipe not followed exactly as written. Keep you...

Reviewed Warm Bacon Tarragon Potato Salad

Sep 12, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This was all in all a good recipe, but I had to add much more salt, tarragon, pepper and mustard to even taste the spices and seasonings. I also carmelized the onions to add deeper flavor as well as touch of mayo to make richer and creamier. I enjoyed this recipe both warm and now have left-overs in fridge waiting on result's.""
