Tried this recipe a couple of months ago and we have had it almost every week since. I use a red wine vinegar in place of the balsamic and the vegetables taste almost pickled. Other times I have just sauteed the onions and peppers with the tomato paste and vinegar and used them as a relish for both hotdogs and burgers. So Good!"

I always thought sausage and peppers would be a tasty dinner and this recipe worked out even better than I hoped. I use a little water in the pan when I pt the sausages back in and it helps with sticking and cooks them a little faster. I also use red wine vinegar sometimes for a nice change.
