Although this recipe is good and this simple dish differs with all the different areas in Italy the one from Terremo is the best. I use chicken stok and dry white wine for the scripelle batter.And the dish is called scrippelle im busse, Abruzzo dialect

Real timballo is made with savory crepes, a meat sauce made with sausage or tiny meatballs and the origin is in Abruzzi region of Italy
