Reviewed Mini Lasagnas with Sweet Corn and Mascarpone
"I made this lasagna after watching the special on the reception for Kate and William. This was very tasty and I will be making it again. It had an elegant feel, a smoothness and sweetness that was delicious Everyone who tried it, loved it. I did use fat-free half and half instead of cream and it made no difference, still delicious. I will t"
Reviewed Spaghetti with Pinot Grigio and Seafood
"This has got to be our favorite dish. My husband chose it for our anniversary dinner. It's a very light, delicious dish that takes only minutes to prepare. I do half the clams and add mussels because I saw it in another recipe and we both love mussels. I also add some red pepper flakes. The broth is very flavorful from the wine, sundried ""
Reviewed Chianti Marinated Beef Stew
"This stew has become a favorite, even for my picky eater daughter.
It has wonderful flavor and feeds a lot of people. It does take a lot of time to make but on days when I have not a lot to do and will be staying in, it is a great choice. The one change I made is that I add about 8 oz. of mushrooms because I love mushrooms in almost anything.""
Reviewed Cioppino
"This is one of my husband's and my favorite recipes. It is easy, flavorful and just wonderful on a cool day. Today I wasn't able to get mussels, so I used just clams, cod and shrimp. Just terrific. I did up the hot pepper flakes as we like it a bit spicier than the recipe calls for. Instead of rustic Italian bread, we used jalopeno cornbread. It was very good.
Reviewed Mini Orange Chocolate Chunk Cake
"This was an excellent recipe. It is actually the first recipe I ever downloaded of Ina's, but it has taken me this long to try it. I was looking for a pan and decided to try it with a cupcake pan. It worked perfectly. The recipe was easy to follow and very tasty. My husband loved it. Orange and chocolate are one of my favorite combinations.
Reviewed Stracotto (Pot Roast with Porcini Mushrooms
"I made this recipe for Christmas dinner this year. It was absolutely fabulous. I didn't use a chuck roast since I am not fond of chuck. I used a leaner cut of meat and there was no fat in the pan to skim. Very good flavor in the meat and the mushroom sauce was excellent. I made it with the mushroom risotto with peas and roasted root vegetables. For once, I didn't get one complaint about the food. Everyone loved it. Plenty of leftovers, too.
