Reviewed Peanut Butter and Jelly Cupcakes
"If you are looking for a light, moist, creative cupcake-- this is really not the right recipe for you. I am not a fan of using sour cream in cake batter, and in this case you can totally taste it. That plus the cream cheese frosting (which, by the way, took a lot of extra powdered sugar to get to pipe-able, palatable texture) made these cupcakes a little sour... and sourness has nothing to do with peanutbutter and jelly, in my opinion. lol. Plus they came out pretty heavy! Honestly I probably could have improvised a better recipe on my own, and I am just an average baker. So if any of this review resonates with you, I'd recommend just using the idea to tweak your own recipe-- that's what I'll do next time.
