"Wonderful cake but NeoBaker who posted a comment in Sept. 2011 is correct. This is not an original by Ree - the original was called Texas Sheet Cake and I have been making it for years. It's a vintage cake recipe - glad Ree reintroduced the recipe for everyone to enjoy."
