Reviewed The Lady and Sons Lasagna

"I made this lasagna for my sister and brother-in-law when they came to Atlanta from Boston. Their from the south too, but don't get a chance to eat southern food up in Boston. My brother in law ate three helpings and talked about it for two days after! I cut out the cottage cheese, just don't care for it, and it was still amazing. Although, as som""

Reviewed Buttermilk Pancakes

"These were really good. I did take the advise of other reviews and added a tbsp. Of sugar and a splash of vanilla. I have a feeling they would have been bland without those extra ingredients. These were simple and good.""

Reviewed Why-the-Chicken-Crossed-the-Road Santa Fe-Tastic Tortilla Soup

"This soup is really great. I wasn't sure as it was cooking-didn't look like anything special, but it turned out great. The toppings put it at the super level. It does look like there are a lot of ingredients and it would be hard to prepare, but it's really not. I like to have soups on hand this time of year so I made this soup, a corn chowder, an""

Reviewed Creamy Squash Soup

"This soup was really good. Aside from peeling and cutting that darn squash (never have an easy time doing that, this recipe is so simple and delicious. If you like a naturally sweet soup, you should give this recipe a try. Don't forget to add some crusty bread for dipping.""

"Really delicious! So many flavors that all compliment one another. Some work involved, but well worth it. Will definitely make it again. "

Reviewed Basic Pizza Dough

"I tried this pizza dough tonight and it came out hard as a rock! Could have broken a tooth. However, I am more of a "cooker" not a "baker". I am now trying to bake breads and crusts with not much luck so far. Since starting to make pizza dough, I find that bread flour works better for me than all purpose. Tonight I used AP. I gave two stars because the flavor was okay (not too much salt and .....completely bland.) Maybe it was something that I did wrong (my water temp., did not kneed enough, etc.) If your a true baker this recipe may be great. If not be careful and keep your dentists phone number nearby!

Reviewed Spinach and Bacon Quiche

"I have made this several times now and switch it up with different things. Last night I didn't have enough swiss cheese so I used gruyere instead. I also grate in a little fresh nutmeg. I love that you can use this as a simple base recipe and add whatever veggies you have on hand. I would like to try broccoli and cheddar next time. I give this a 5 star rating for simplicity and being able to use so many different veggies. Thanks Paula.
